Tanuki Launches Wok & Wine Wednesdays

Tanuki, the modern pan-Asian eatery located on 11th and Alton in Miami Beach, has launched Wok & Wine Wednesdays, according to a news release.

Each week, guests can enjoy a selection of $15 wok dishes all night long starting at 4 p.m., as well as half off all bottles of wine and sake that are $75 or less.

Miami Lakes Landmark Suddenly Closes

A Miami Lake landmark closed for good suddenly Monday after 43 years in business, Local 10 News reported.

Diners who showed up for a meal found a note on the door from the Beverly Hills Café that read, "The team at the Beverly Hills Café is sad to inform you that we are permanently closed. After 43 years in business, we want to express our deepest gratitude to our amazing customers and staff for supporting us through the years."

New York Middle Eastern Restaurant Opens in Miami

A Middle Eastern restaurant created by a New York-based hospitality group is coming to downtown Miami.

Mazeh, owned by GPG Hospitality, will open in Yotel Miami, according to the Miami Herald. The menu will focus on tapas, encouraging guests to order small plates.

Shokudo Celebrates 10th Anniversary with $10 Specials for 10 Days

Celebrate Shokudo's 10th anniversary with $10 specials for 10 days, kicking off Thursday through July 31.

Located at 4740 NE 2nd Ave. in Miami, the modern Asian bistro has curated a special menu to commemorate a decade in business, featuring bestsellers from both the food and cocktail menus, according to a news release. The celebratory $10 menu includes a variety of sushi, noodle and rice dishes.

Plant-Based Eatery Closing at Doral Yard

The plant-based restaurant della bowls is closing its doors at Doral Yards. The eatery, which got its start as a food truck at the Wynwood Yard, serves customizable, nutrient-dense bowls. Its last day open will be Sunday.

In a blog on the della bowls website, the owner, Della Heiman Goldkind, wrote, "Along my entrepreneurial journey, I continue to learn that focus is key. Since 2015, I've been wearing two hats, as both the CEO and founder of The Doral Yard (formerly The Wynwood Yard) and of della bowls. After a lot of reflection, I've decided to place my focus entirely on The Doral Yard. While I'm sad to say goodbye to della bowls, I feel so proud of the amazing community we've built and the opportunity to have played a role in South Florida's plant-based movement."

New Waterfront Restaurant Opening in Coconut Grove

Bayshore Club, a new waterfront restaurant, has opened in Coconut Grove, TimeOut reported.

Created by Grove Bay Hospitality Group, the indoor/outdoor restaurant is part of Regatta Harbour, a new mixed-use development.

The eatery boasts a menu that heavily features seafood and many items inspired by Latin cuisine. It opens to the public July 25.

Dogfish Head Miami Launches Summer Menu

Wynwood brewery Dogfish Head Miami has launched its summer menu. Conceptualized by chef Charlie Mendoza-Sewell, the menu's new eats will be complemented by an array of scratch-made, beer-infused dressings and sauces prepared in-house, according to a news release.

Peruvian Independence Day Party Planned at La Mar

Join La Mar by Gastón Acurio, located at 500 Brickell Key Drive in Miami, in celebrating Peru's independence on July 28.

Guests will explore the flavors of Peru with a menu curated by executive chef Diego Oka, according to a news release. Enjoy fun food stations, tableside chaufa aeropuerto, as well as live entertainment, including music and dance performances, and of course unlimited Pisco Sours.

Beaker & Gray to Host Christmas in July Event

Beaker & Gray at 2637 N. Miami Ave. in Miami will transform into a holiday wonderland for a Christmas in July event.

Chef Brian Nasajon has crafted a holiday feast for the July 31 event and the bar team has created special cocktails, Bad Santa's Coladita and the Christmas Kiss.

The menu includes two eggs any style, maple ham, honey-glazed breakfast sausage, garlic rolls, home fries, apple bread pudding, and sourdough bread with pumpkin butter and cranberry jam.
