Sharing a meal with your loved ones feeds more than your belly; it also nourishes the heart and soul. The fare doesn’t have to be lavish or elaborate—it can be as simple as an al fresco dinner in the grass or as complex as a multi-course feast. Either way, the right gear will set you up for success (and make your life a lot easier). Below, we’ve found six deals to help.

Sony SRS-XB43 Portable Bluetooth Speaker Deal price: $148; street price: $200

Like good lighting, music is a great way to help set the mood. The Sony SRS-XB43 is a more-affordable alternative to our upgrade pick. The SRS-XB43 is a little bulky and not quite as portable, but it’s still a great-sounding option if you want a robust speaker around the house or to really pump out the decibels when you’re on the go (and you don’t mind schlepping it around). This deal is slightly more than the last discount we posted, but it’s only the second notable drop we’ve seen for the SRS-XB43.

OXO 14-Piece Glass Bake Serve & Store Set Deal price: $64; street price: $73

Avid chiefs and bakers know that storage is a commodity. This 14-piece set from OXO is basically a three-in-one solution for baking, serving, and storing leftovers. The bundle includes our budget casserole dish (the 3-Qt Glass Baking Dish with Lid), the Glass Loaf Pan, Glass Pie Plate (similar to our top pick), 1-Cup Round Smart Seal Container, 2-Cup Round Smart Seal Container, and 4-Cup Round Smart Seal Container. These glass pieces can all go from the oven to the fridge with their corresponding lids. Though we don’t specifically recommend the other pieces in this set, Wirecutter holds OXO products in high esteem overall. They tend to be durable and versatile, and they should make a nice addition to your cookware at home.

Cosori Pro Air Fryer Deal price: $86; street price: $100

Grab the Cosori Pro Air Fryer if you want a pod-shaped air fryer for less than $100. It didn’t cook as evenly as our other picks, and we didn’t find its plethora of preprogrammed settings to be particularly accurate, but the Cosori does a perfectly acceptable job for something in its price range. You may just need to spend some time adjusting the settings to get the best results. Otherwise, the Cosori is an attractive model that comes with a handy recipe booklet for those new to convection technology.

Braun MultiQuick 7 Hand Blender MQ7035 Deal price: $80 with Costco membership; street price: $100

If you enjoy making soups or sauces, you need an immersion blender. It’s not as powerful as a full-on blender, but it’s significantly more compact and convenient. We like the Braun MultiQuick 7 for its adjustable speeds. It can easily be used one-handed, and it outperformed more expensive Braun models during testing. Besides the blender, this model also includes a whisk attachment, a beaker, and a two-cup food processor—basically everything you need to quickly and easily elevate your next feast.

UST 60-Day Duro Lantern Deal price: $37; street price: $53

You don’t have to call it quits just because the sun has set—a good lantern can keep the revelry going well into the night. The versatile UST 60-Day Duro Lantern is a favorite lighting tool that makes an appearance in several of our guides. It’s perfect for illuminating an evening spent on the porch, and it can also come in handy in case of a power outage. However, the Duro has a weatherproof rating of only IPX4. This means that although it can withstand splashes of water, it’s not dustproof or quite as durable as more-rugged lanterns out there. This deal isn’t the best price we’ve seen for our pick, but discounts have been few and far between over the past year. So we still think it’s a decent drop.

Faribault Woolen Mill Pure & Simple Wool Blanket (Queen) Deal price: $198 with code WIRECUTTER; street price: $245

A good blanket is the perfect companion to a backyard soiree. If you want something dense and warm to ward off the evening chill, we like the Faribault Woolen Mill Pure & Simple Wool Blanket. It’s not exactly soft—if you want a blanket that’s plush, you’d be better off searching for something made from a wool blend or another material altogether. But the Faribault is pleasantly coarse, washable, and durable. Like most wool blankets, the Faribault smells strongly of wet animal when it’s fresh out of the wash, but the scent disappears quickly once dried. Overall, this is a perfect “rustic heirloom blanket” to have on hand. This deal is the first notable discount we’ve seen for this newer pick, so check out with code WIRECUTTER to save.
