The German-based glass manufacturer has produced the flacons for Wild Hearts and Blazing Warmth, the new perfumes from Oriflame’s Swedish Experience collection.

Both bottles of perfumes are made from sustainable PCR (post-consumer recycled) glass.

"More than 10 years of experience and a broad range of products in PCR glass convinced us to partner up with Gerresheimer,” explains Mariusz Krzyśpiak, Packaging Manager Fragrance at Oriflame.

Gerresheimer’s two production sites dedicate to cosmetic packaging - in Momignies, Belgium and Tettau, Germany - are major producers of PCR glass containers.

To produce the most sustainable flacons possible, Gerresheimer has combined the use of PCR recycled glass, which helps reduce energy consumption and reuse waste, with innovative technologies for optimized glass weight reduction.

“With the 40% PCR share in the glass at our Momignies plant, we reduce the carbon footprint and use less raw material," states Jürgen Grasel, Director Sales Cosmetics Europe Moulded Glass at Gerresheimer.
