EMMERDALE fans discovered the guest role of Mike from Tracy Beaker in the soap opera, but this is not his first time in the village.

Fans of Hawkeye managed to spot the actor playing the surgeon, even though he was wearing a mask throughout the scene.

Actor Connor Byrne appears in the scene, Jai and Ellis are waiting for Priya's update.

As a serial killer Mina, she was severely injured after being trapped in a burning corn maze, trying to murder her and Andrea Tate.

"I am happy to say that Priya's observations have improved significantly in the past few hours," Connor, who plays the doctor, told the two men.

Although there is good news about Priya's condition, people watching at home are more interested in who the actor is because they found him to be a well-known face in children's TV.

"That's Mike from Tracy's Beaker," a careful fan wrote.

Another added: "Is that the Mike in the junkyard?"

The third person commented: "Is it me or someone else who noticed that the doctor was talking to Jay and Elis, they actually played Mike in the tracy beaker?"

Connor, 55, has played the role of Mike Milligan since 2002, making him the longest serving actor in the series.

His role is a head care worker at the garbage dump, and Mike even got MBE for his services.

The Irish actor also appeared in the Burning of Holby, Bill and London.

Monday’s appearance was not Connor’s first short trip in Emmerdale.

In 2019, he played a private detective who helped Harriet Fincher track down the stalker Will Taylor.

After the success of "My Mother Tracey Baker" earlier this year, when Conner's new role in Emmerdale appeared, Tracy Baker's cast members were working on another new series Work.

The new five-part series Beaker Girls will be broadcast on CBBC and BBC iPlayer later this year.

The story will tell how the Beaker Girl loves her new life of running a junkyard thrift store in the weird coastal town of Cooksey.

The Wheeler dealer duo made new friends, but they also made enemies and caused a lot of trouble.

When Jordan, a runaway teenager who has been repeatedly failed by the nursing system, finds a way into the comfortable home of Beaker Girl, Tracy's life seems to have returned to its original point, and she considers becoming an adoptive parent.

But Jess may not be ready to share her mother.

Other familiar faces returning include Lisa Coleman as Cam, Montana Thompson as Justin, and Danielle Henry as Mary.

Newcomer Chi-Megan Ennis McLean will play Jordan, and Alibe Parsons will join as thrift store owner Flo.

All previous series of Tracy Beaker can be watched on BBC iPlayer, and the Tracy Beaker podcast can be watched on BBC Sounds.

The original TV show was first released in 2002, and the CBBC restart series "My Mother Tracy Beaker" showed Tracy and her daughter Jesse as a single mother in her 30s.

The original series told the story of Jacqueline Wilson's book of the same name, when the young Tracey grew up in the junkyard of Children's House.

The rebellious Tracy is known for competing with Justin Littlewood and often doing bad things after being taken care of by her mother.

The show ended with Tracy's adoption and subsequent adoption by writer Cam Lawson. The character last appeared in the 2013 sequel "Tracy Beaker Returns."
