In a statement shared by Borosil managing director Shreevar Kheruka, which also listed the names of the four team members who lost their lives due to the coronavirus, the company announced that “any employee’s family and its subsidiaries will receive two years of Wages, if there is an unfortunate death due to COVID-19."

Suffering and grief have entered the family of every Indian directly or indirectly. In such times, some employers are trying to do their best for their employees.

As mentioned in the statement, Borosil's posture "is not comparable to the scale of the loss."

Borosil is not the only company that has lost employees due to the virus.

During such crises, one should keep in mind to provide a safe, clean and hygienic working environment, and to ensure remote work as much as possible. In these difficult times, appropriate consideration should be given to the mental health of employees.

Considering the ambiguity and severity of the pandemic, MD Shreevar Kheruka concluded the statement with "This will also pass, and we will usher in a better tomorrow."
